In very fine condition.  The canvas not lined, torn, patched or repaired.  Clean, most attractive, well framed and ready to hang.  Presented in what is presumably its original frame.

Artist Information

James Salt was an English artist.  He specialized in capriccio paintings, specifically capturing imagined views of Venice in oils but with a gentle colouring and atmospheric feel. He was quite prolific but not a lot known about him.
