Artist Information
Louise Guyot was a french artist. She specialised in paintings with sheep and also painted landscapes and still life. She studied under her father the landscape painter Antoine-Patrice Guyot. She first exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1841 where she won a bronze medal. Her dates are sometimes given as 1869-1927 however these appear to be incorrect.
