In very fine condition. The canvas not lined, torn, patched or repaired. Clean, most attractive, well framed and ready to hang.
Artist Information
Hilda Margaret Fairbairn was an artist and illustrator born in Knowl Hill, near Maidenhead, Berkshire where her father was the local vicar. She attended the Herkomer Art School and became a prolific exhibitor. She was made an associate of the Society of Women Artists in 1902. She exhibited widely including works at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Society of Women Artists and elsewhere.
