A very rare opportunity to acquire an original painting by important French still life artist Eugene Henri Cauchois. The artist's paintings of flowers are his most highly regarded subject matter and this is a wonderful example. The painting has a wonderful provenance having previously been with Christie's and with a mid/late 20th century Christie's stencil on the stretcher. The painting is signed lower right.
